Key Specification :-

1. 8GB of RAM
2. Quad-core 2.6GHz CPU
3. Android 7.0 Nougat with MIUI 8 on top
4. Snapdragon 821

Xiaomi on Tuesday released the much-rumoured Xiaomi Mi 5s at an event scheduled on September 27 at the China National Convention Centre in Beijing. While it is almost certain that the Mi 5s will be unveiled on that date, there are also hints that the Mi Note 2 will also make its debut as well. The latest leaks now detail the Mi Note 2 Pro.

Over the past few weeks, there have been numerous leaks regarding the Mi Note 2. The device is rumored to sport a dual-edge screen with 6GB of RAM. While details of the Mi Note 2 are still speculative, we now have a fresh leak that suggests what could be a Mi Note 2 Pro device. A screenshot posted on Weibo shows the 'About phone' page of the alleged Mi Note 2 Pro.

According to the image, the Mi Note 2 Pro will feature a whopping 8GB of RAM with a quad-core 2.6GHz CPU, running the latest Android 7.0 Nougat with MIUI 8 on top. The chip-set is likely to be the new Snapdragon 821 which is also rumored to feature in the Mi Note 2.

While the details on the Mi Note 2 Pro are limited, it is likely that Xiaomi will reveal the device a few months after the launch of the Mi Note 2, as was the case with the Mi Note and Mi Note Pro. It is also possible that the leaked screenshot is simply a variant of the Mi Note 2, which will likely be known in a week from now.

Meanwhile, the Mi Note 2 is rumored to come in two storage options at 64GB and 128GB. Other rumored features include a USB Type-C port, 3600mAh battery, two speaker grilles, and a fingerprint sensor at the front.

The Mi Note 2 is expected to be priced around CNY 2,499 (roughly Rs. 25,000) for the 64GB variant and around CNY 2,799 (roughly Rs. 28,000) for the 128GB option.

The New i Phone 7 Price, Specification and Launch in India

Apple has unveiled the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus and turns out most of the rumours doing the rounds days before the launch of the new iPhone were actually true. And Tim Cook says "the best iPhone Apple has ever made".

As for India, Apple will launch its new iPhone on the 7th of October and the base model is likely to cost Rs. 60,000 but there is no clarity on the India pricing yet for all devices. So taking a hint from the global prices here's what it looks like, the iPhone 7 starts at $649 (approximately Rs. 43,000) for 32GB variant, doing away with the 16GB variant, while the iPhone 7 Plus start at $769 (Rs. 51,000), with a $100 premium for the next storage variants for both models: 128GB and 256GB. Pre-orders open this Friday and the new iPhone models will ship on September 13 in select countries.

Some of the features

It's a new look for the iPhone 7 with no antenna lines and apart from the usual colours silver, gold and rose gold, iPhone 7 comes in a new and swanky matt black and glossy jet black colour too.

Apple is super kicked about its camera and the iPhone 7 Plus packs in the widely rumoured dual rear camera setup - one 56mm telephoto lens and the other wide-angle lens. The bigger iPhone is also capable of 2X optical zoom, with total zoom up to 10x. There are camera improvements, with the iPhone 7 also getting optical image stabilisation (OIS). There's a new 6-element f/1.8 aperture lens with 12-megapixel sensor and quad-LED with True Tone Flash. A new 7-megapixel front camera is included as well and Apple swears by it. The newest iPhone models come with a new image processing image, which, Apple claims, delivers better, faster pictures. A major focus for Apple has been the camera and we expect the tradition to continue 'clicked from iPhone 7'.

The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus also feature a redesigned home button, and for the first time much like its competitor Samsung, pack in dust and water resistance. A true value addition.

The new iPhone models comes with a 25 percent brighter display with a wider colour gambit and improved colour management. The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are powered by a new A10 Fusion 64-bit quad core chip, which is 40 percent faster than the A9, and more power efficient, which means the new models have the "best battery life ever" on an iPhone.

Looks like this piece of information was right that Apple will ditch the headphone jack, the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus will use the Lightning port for audio. You can calm down as each new iPhone model will come with bundled Lightning EarPods, and a Lightning-to-3.5mm audio adapter. But Apple is likely to see some amount of backlash on this particular change.

The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are packed with stereo speaker- one at the bottom, and one at the top, and Apple claims its going to be twice as loud as their predecessors.

Apple's market share has halved from earlier 4% to now 2% market share in India due to sales of iPhones slipping in the country, will the new iPhone 7 bring in growth for Apple in India. We'll have to wait and watch. But it does look like Apple has tried to pack in quite a punch in this new iPhone but for India we will still have to wait for the pricing to see how the phone will fare in the India market.

Akhilesh Yadav's Smartphone Offer *Condition Apply

Condition : Apply Now, Receive When We Come Back

Akhilesh Yadav's After Giving Free laptops the latest instrument to reach out to the people of Uttar Pradesh, where elections will be held next year, is the smartphone.

After free laptops, the Chief Minister is planning to give away free phones. But conditions apply.

People can request now but the smartphones will be home-delivered only in the "second half of 2017"- a clear sign that the Samajwadi Party plans to keep this promise only if it is voted back to power.

Anyone who is over 18 and lives in Uttar Pradesh can apply for a phone - online - provided their family income is less than 2 lakh rupees a year. The online registrations are likely to start in a month.

At a recent function, the Chief Minister had hinted at the scheme, saying "Samajwadis will think of something which we can give to next generation or something through which they can get more information about the government and share their expectations. The cities are becoming smart and through mobile applications people are getting information."

In 2012, when the Samajwadi Party returned to power in Uttar Pradesh, one of its key promises was free laptops for students, a promise that the 43-year-old chief minister kept but not without controversy. Besides various problems, the government ended up owing crores to Hewlett Packard, the company supplying the laptops.

In the election due early next year, Uttar Pradesh is likely to see a tough four-cornered fight between the Samajwadi Party, the BJP, Mayawati's BSP and the Congress.

Like as laptop this may be surely hit among youth for getting new smart phone.

Want Jio Sim, Need Patience or Payment

Getting a Reliance Jio 4G SIM isn't easy, but it's worth it

Jio, the 4G service that Reliance Industries is preparing for an official launch, is one of the most exciting things to happen in the world of Indian telecom market in a long long time. Starved of data and reliable 3G or 4G services, people have great hopes from Jio. The fact that it is currently available for free for almost all 4G-enabled phones is making it a great crowd-puller.
The rush is truly maddening. People queuing outside Reliance Digital stores and Reliance Digital Express Mini are real. And in places where there are no queues, that is because of some mechanism contrived by the store managers to keep the crowd out, a mechanism that may seem just or unfair, depending what it entails and how badly you want a SIM.
Way you get it
1. The easy way out
Buying a Lyf smartphone is the easiest method to get a Jio SIM, for free. Every Reliance Lyf smartphone comes pre-bundled with a SIM card that is pre-activated with Jio's 4G Preview offer. Simply buy the phone, and you're good to go. Problem is, almost all of the Lyf smartphones suck. Prices range from Rs 3,000 to around Rs 20,000. Still, it's hard to recommend a Lyf smartphone over already existent smartphones. What if I want just the Jio SIM, and I want it easy? Well, I would go buy the cheapest option: Flame 3, Flame 4 or Flame 5. I am personally not recommending the phones to anyone, but if you mind all the hassle and technicalities of getting a Jio SIM, buying the Flame 3, Flame 4 or Flame 5 is the only (easy) way out there, for now.
2. Buy a Samsung Smart Phone
Jio has tied up with Samsung to offer its 4G Preview scheme on select handsets. These include the Samsung Galaxy A5 2015, Galaxy A7 2015, Galaxy A8, Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy Note 5 Duos, Galaxy Note Edge, Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge, Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, Galaxy S7, and the Galaxy S7 Edge. If you have any of these phones, well, consider yourself lucky. But the same question arise here what to do with our existing phones.

3. Week-long wait for SIM card

In most Digital Express Mini stores in Delhi - the shops run by phone dealers in partnership with Reliance - the wait for the Jio SIM is now running into 7-10 days, even if there are no queues outside the store. "If you want a Jio SIM, you have to leave your name, number and phone's manufacturer. Please list them in this register," a Xpress Mini store manager in South Delhi .In on Saturday. "Once the people who are waiting ahead of you get it, we will give you a call and you will have to come to the store with KYC documents (address proof, photos etc) to get you SIM."

Forget free, pay some money

When the demand outstrips supply, for many there is often a way to make some extra money. With Jio's popularity the phone dealers too have sensed there chance. Although, it is not condoned by Jio, the same Xpress Mini store that won't give consumers the Jio SIM without making them wait for a week, is willing to give it all in case a consumers buys a phone from him. "Of course, you can get a Jio SIM today. Buy a phone from me. This way I take care of my consumers and not the whole Delhi that is rushing into my shop to claim a free SIM card," he said.
Similarly, all major phone shops have the stock of Jio SIM cards but they are not only allowed to bundle them with handset they sell. For example if you buy a LG or Samsung phone, or a Lyf phone, you can get the Jio SIM from almost any shop.
Relience Jio is now available over 16 diffrent brands Smartphones.
After Samsung, LG, Panasonic, Asus, Micromax and Yu, Gionee, Karbonn, Lava and Xolo Reliance Digital on Monday tied up with Sony, Videocon and Sansui to offer its Jio 4G Preview scheme on all their 4G-enabled smartphones. This is in line with  our source that "the offer has been extended to virtually every 4G-compatible handset out there, but, a broader roll-out will take at least a week."
Users can avail of the Jio Preview Offer at all Reliance Digital stores (including Digital Xpress and Digital Xpress Mini), and other select smartphone retail stores across the country.
Under the Preview offer, consumers who purchase an eligible 4G smartphone will get a free Reliance Jio 4G SIM and complementary access to unlimited HD voice, video calling, unlimited SMS, unlimited high-speed data services, and access to Jio Apps. Existing users can meanwhile get their free Jio SIM by generating relevant Preview code on their phones using the My Jio app.
Overall The pricing of internet and call charges after three months are still a mystery, but until then customers can enjoy the services with no strings attached.

MIUI 8 Update Rolling Out Through Air

MIUI 8 update is rolling out , previously rolled out to the entire range of devices, such as the Redmi Note 3, Mi2/Mi2S, Redmi1s, and Mi4i among others, is now available over-the-air to users of the flagship smartphone in India.  The global version has all the features of the Chinese version that we saw before, but Xiaomi also added some new features in this new update.

The notification drawer has the biggest change, with a consolidated list and a weather panel at the top that changes color and animation according to the weather. Xiaomi has also incorporated the color changing status bar and animations in other apps across the UI.

Taking a entire page screen shot is a messed up thing but now you can do it with MIUI 8.The scrolling screenshot feature lets you take a screenshot of an entire page by scrolling and combining multiple images into one long screenshot that you can then crop to your liking. The Quick Ball feature puts a circle on the side of the display that houses quick shortcuts to various functions such as back, app switcher, or shortcuts to apps that you can customize.

Now you can chat with two whatsapp on same mobile yes,  MIUI 8 also added support for Dual Apps and dual spaces. Dual Apps allows you to have two instances of the same app on your device, so you can, for example, have two WhatsApp accounts on the same phone, one for each SIM, something you couldn't do before.

You can have two instances of any app. Dual spaces lets you have two different workspaces on your device, each with its own set of apps, customizations, and image gallery, and you can enter a custom passcode on the lockscreen to enter either of the space. This will be especially handy on tablets that get shared between people.

The update also comes with a redesigned Gallery app (letting users add filters, crop images and use various in-built video editing tools), a new Notes app (which can be secured by using by password or fingerprints), and a text message filter feature to warn users about phishing attacks. Apart from these, MIUI 8 also comes in with a power saving mode which freezes the background apps and saves the battery.
